I voted for Development.

I voted for development. I voted for Strong Government. I voted for Better Governance. I voted for India's future. Ab Ki bar Modi Sarkar...

I had to go to Jayanagara 1st Block to cast my vote. Which is around 30 mins drive from my current location.  Even though Q was big when I reached polling station, it did not take much time. I had to stand in Q for only 30 mins. Officers at the polling stations were all friendly. This was my second time.  EC is doing wonderful job.

Hope polling continues peacefully through out  the day. Hope more and more people come out to vote this time.

Eagerly waiting for May 16th.....

Indian General Election 2014

General election will be held in Indian from 7 April to 12 May. Results will be declared on May 16.
If you go by the opinion polls conducted by various media houses it clear that we will have a new government after 16 May. It will be interesting to see which political party will head the next coalition government.

This election is very different from previous elections. Print media and electronic media played a significant role in the last two elections. This time social media is playing a significant role apart from usual print and TV media. It seems social media has become more powerful than other forms of media. Social media will play a huge role in this general election.

My Reading Habits

It's surprising how our reading habits change over a time. My taste in books, magazines and news papers has changed significantly in last couple of years. I think Internet has played a significant part in it. I no longer read few magazines which I used to read every week . I have changed my news paper subscription twice recently.

Five Point Someone play @Ranga Shankara

Few days back I watched Five Point Someone play @Ranga Shankara which was presented beautifully by Evam. If you are a fan of FPS then it is a must watch for you. Forget about the movie. This play lives up the expectations of all the true fans of FPS. It won’t disappoint you like the movie did in the end. Acting was excellent. Everything about this play was perfect including cast, acting and the direction, etc…. I think CB will be very happy to be associated with this play rather than the movie. Evam is taking this play to all major cities in India. If you get a chance don’t miss it. What made me even more proud was that most of the cast and crew were from Bangalore.

I normally go along with Sudhi to watch play at Ranga Shankara. Since he stays very near to Ranga Shankara it is very convenient also for us. This time we wanted to watch this play with our friends. Only Jumma and Divya joined us. Due to some unavoidable circumstances Vijay and Gunda could not make it. Even though play was two and half hours long, we thoroughly enjoyed the play.

I am back!!

It has been a very very long time since I last posted. What is surprising is that I have not posted much in 2009!!. Any way, from now onwards I am planning to post regularly if not daily.

2009 was a good year if not a very good year. I joined a new company after working for almost three and half years for a company. Upgraded my Oracle certificate. Had a great time with my best friends. Honey valley trip was very good.

2010 seems to be very promising year. I have lot of plans for this year. I hope everything goes according the plan.
